DIY Race Track

DIY Race Track

Type A, Type B RC cars and some others come with non-replaceable plastic wheels for better drifting, however they can be great racers. Here is an example of a simple DIY race track:

  1. Foam interlocking mats set from your local tools and garden stores chain ~ 2 sets around $30-35 (NZD). It is better to put them upside down for more even surface.
  2. Two foam mat edges interlocked together.
  3. Red duct tape ~$4.
  4. Cone - comes with most of the cars
  5. Checkered scotch tape - $11.
  6. Assorted Lego wheels and a service station.

When a race is on:

Happy racing :)
